January 6: Alpha Bros vs. Simps? Wrong Fight.

Here's something I’ve been holding onto...

An opinion that might make some people squirm.

But hey—today’s Day 1 of 30 Days to End People-Pleasing inside The Studio, so let’s stop pretending.

Here’s my hot take:

Alpha bros and simps aren’t opposites.

They’re siblings. Possibly twins. Wearing different hats...but driven by the same thing: external validation.

Simps seek approval from women.

Alpha bros seek approval from other men.

Neither is choosing for themselves.

Simps bend over backwards to avoid being rejected.

Alpha bros contort themselves to avoid being ridiculed.

Both are living by other people’s measuring sticks.

That’s not confidence. That’s performance.

And listen—this isn’t a man-only issue.

Pick-me’s do the same thing.

So do progressive folks too scared to say something nuanced.

Conservatives hiding their doubts.

Kinky folks acting vanilla.

Monogamous people pretending they’re cool with openness.

Introverts cosplaying extroversion like it’s a job interview.

If your identity is shaped by who approves of you, you’re not living. You’re auditioning.

I get it. Approval feels good, but if your whole happiness collapses when a woman disapproves, when a group of guys mocks you, or when your friends side-eye your honesty—that’s people-pleasing.

That’s the performance we’re here to end.

Not by becoming alpha.

Not by becoming agreeable.

But by being authentic.

Living from your values. Choosing even when it’s unpopular. Enjoying approval, but not needing it. Letting rejection sting without allowing it to define you.

So yeah, today’s Day 1 of 30 Days to End People-Pleasing. And if you join now, you’ll be in sync with the group.

Starting 2026 off—not with resolutions you’ll ghost by February—but with identity-level change.

You in?

It’s 10-15 minutes a day.

It’s uncomfortable (and long-buried) truths.

It’s less approval-chasing, more soul reclamation.

And yeah…living your own life might piss some people off.

That’s how you know it’s working.
