May 27: The Bro-vosphere strikes again (and I strike back)

Yesterday, I was reverent.

Today? I’m back in fuxk the bro-vosphere mood. 🔥

Because hoo boy…

I had a Facebook comment exchange on one of my ads that started with:

“Start with: I’m rich.”

And sure, that’s one way to open.

But if that’s your whole vibe—

Don’t be surprised when that’s all she sees.

And all she wants.

And all you get back.

Of course I said that…

Cue the backlash.

“I was joking.”

“You sound like AI.”

“You can’t take a joke.”

“You read and study? Pfft. You think that makes you wise?”

“What, do you just judge everyone now?”

“LMAO bots hate humor.”

Here’s the thing:

“It’s just a joke” is one of the most common deflections people use when they’ve been called out—and they’re low-key panicking because the truth hit too close.

But that defense doesn’t hold up.

Toxitest Definition

Not if the joke is actually a toxitest—a little jab to see if the other person will take the abuse, the neg, or the shitty take masquerading as humor.

Not if the joke teaches those watching and reading along to believe that women are only worth impressing with money, dominance, or fake “status.”

Not if the joke undermines connection and teaches other men to do the same.

Because humor isn’t neutral.

It reinforces beliefs.

And beliefs create behavior.

And behavior builds (or breaks) relationships.

This isn’t “overthinking.”

It’s emotional literacy.

It’s the difference between being the guy who gets love (and …laid)..

And the one who gets laughed at, ghosted, or rejected for “some reason” he can’t figure out.

So if you find yourself defending jokes that lambast an entire gender…

Or dismissing women because they might be gold diggers...

Or assuming most women only want money or status or muscles...

Pause.

And ask yourself:

Where did I learn that?

And who benefits if I keep believing it?

Because here’s the reality:

Anytime you think a whole gender is only as good as its worst online representatives?

You’re not seeing people clearly.

You’re still stuck in the sulk-ernet.

And you're limiting what kind of connection you’ll ever get to experience.

If that stings a little, good.

That’s your wake-up call.
