September 19: Some of y’all proved my point. Hard.
Apparently I touched a nerve.
Apparently, some of y’all still believe that life should be fair.
And when it’s not?
You get big mad.
Some of you get so mad that you lash out with the exact kind of sweeping generalizations you claim to hate.
Isn’t that ironic?
No, Alanis. It’s not just ironic—it’s predictable.
Look.
I know it sucks when someone makes assumptions about you.
When someone you don’t know—or worse, someone you do—twists your words, misjudges your actions, or paints you with a brush dipped in someone else’s mistakes.
When they assume they know your whole damn story just because of how you talk, walk, look, or dress.
Yeah. That’s not fair. It’s not your fault. But like I said yesterday:
It IS your problem.
And today, I’m adding this:
It’s also your OPPORTUNITY.
To be more.
To learn what works.
To show up again and again as someone who defies the stereotype. As someone who makes people stop and say, “Wait—they’re different.”
Or—you could be one of the ones who proved my point so well yesterday, I should’ve given out acting awards.
Seriously. Some of you went FULL Veruca Salt. (I watched Remembering Gene Wilder on Netflix two nights ago, I recommend.)
Internet tantrums. Angry emails. One guy even found workarounds on social media after I blocked him via email and text—only to rage harder and harder before begging me to help and offering me money.
Let me be crystal clear:
No.
That’s not how we do things here.
And that brings me to this:
🧨 Tuesday. September 23. 8pm ET.
I’m going LIVE with Regret-Proof Relationships.
Because here’s what I know:
Some people are regretting the choices they made yesterday.
Don’t be that person.
Not with me.
Not with the people in your life (no matter how minor the connection).
Not with yourself.
This world may not always be fair…
But your love life doesn’t have to be a flaming garbage heap because of it.
Come learn how to build something better.
Something smarter. Braver. Real-er.
I’ll show you how.
You just have to show up.

P.S. Did this stir something in you? Anger, agreement, resistance, relief—whatever it is...
That’s your opportunity.
Don’t waste it. Tell me what this brought up.
