June 1: This is what love looks like (all of it).

What a weekend.

Friday night, my sweetie and I went to a small local tantra mixer.

Good people, good conversations, reconnecting with friends we already love.

We had pizza.

(Honestly, that last part mattered a lot.)

Saturday was a birthday pool party for a dear friend, celebrated with her wife and about 20 of her favorite people (a few of mine, too).

Gorgeous weather, easy laughter, the particular kind of warmth that only comes from being around humans who actually like each other.

And Sunday? My first pool party of the season.

About 170 people, gathered in various stages of dress, for six solid hours of belonging, acceptance, laughter, and very hot sexiness.

We finished the evening with food at our favorite restaurant before dragging our completely drained (and deeply happy) selves to bed.

What a way to kick off Pride Month.

June is Pride Month—an annual celebration of LGBTQIIA+ culture, history, and community, tied to the 1969 Stonewall Riots that sparked the modern LGBTQIIA+ rights movement.

And look, it's personal for me.

I'm on the rainbow (way more fun to say than "on the spectrum").

So is my partner.

So are roughly 90% of my friends.

Add in family, people I've known my whole life, and a few beloved humans we've lost too soon, and I have never understood hate or homophobia.

Not even a little.

What I do understand is this: the world needs more love and belonging right now, not less.

In every form it takes.

Between whoever it takes it between.

That's what this weekend was for me.

That's what Pride is.

That's what I try to build in every space I create.

And if you are looking for more of that kind of belonging…in your relationships, your dating life, your sense of self…I’d love to talk.

My free Big Ask consultation is 15 minutes, no pressure, no pitch-fest.

Just a real conversation about where you are and where you want to be.

Happy Pride, friend. 🌈

P.S. Who are you thinking of this Pride? A found family member, a friend who changed your life, someone you lost…or maybe someone you're still finding?

Hit reply and tell me. I genuinely want to know.
