Happy Fri-Yay!

I'm heading into a weekend of pool parties and good people, and before I go, I want to leave you with something.

A client said this in a session back in January and I damn near stood up and applauded:

"I can make all this happen with a lot less effort if I stop being the problem."

That's it.

That's the whole thing.

Not "if I find the right person.”

Not "if the apps weren't so terrible."

Not "if people would just stop being flaky."

He looked in the mirror.

And what he saw wasn't a failure. It was a lever.

Here's what I’d like you to sit with this weekend:

You are your biggest problem.

And you are also your biggest solution.

That's not an insult.

That's incredibly good news.

Because you can't fix the apps.

You can't fix other people.

But you? You're absolutely workable. You have what you need to succeed. Maybe you don't fully recognize it yet, or maybe you need a little help figuring out how to use it. But it's there.

This is what I show my clients.

This is why I love this work.

Because the shift from "why isn't this working" to "what am I doing that's not working" changes everything.

If you're ready to look in that mirror, I would be honored to be in the room with you.

P.S. Does this land for you? Have you ever had a moment where you realized you were the one getting in your own way?

Hit reply and tell me what that looked like. I actually read these.
