February 25: The Dating Skill Nobody Talks About
This week’s word-of-the-week:
notivation
/ˌnōdəˈvāSH(ə)n/
noun
The drive to say “no” early, often, and unapologetically to anything or anyone that doesn’t align with your most amazing self.

“Netflix and chill” first date?
No.
“What’s your body count?”
No.
“Will you CashApp me to get my nails done?”
No.
“The world is flat, don’t you agree?”
No.
Notivation is the power of saying no early and saying no often.
From personal information to sexy talk, there are SO MANY ways to say no and protect your heart in the process.
But here’s the deeper layer:
Saying no isn’t just about protection.
It’s about preservation.
When you say no to what doesn’t align, you stay available for what does.
When you say no to premature intimacy (or too-long delayed intimacy), manipulation, pressure, or low effort, you don’t close yourself off.
You keep yourself open for something real.
For something meaningful.
For something that doesn’t require you to override your own instincts.
That’s what my book Start With No Dating: For Those Who Give Too Much is about.
Filtering out 98% (or more) of users, abusers, liars, and jerks of all genders—early.
Before you’ve invested your time.
Before you’ve invested your money.
Before you’ve invested your heart.
It’s available directly through me in print, digital, and audio formats (digital an audio are both included in The Studio).
You can also find it on Amazon in digital and audio formats, and inside Kindle Unlimited.
If you’ve ever thought, “I knew better,” this book is your permission slip to act on that knowing.

P.S. Tell me about a time you said no when you normally wouldn’t have, and it felt GOOD.
Hit reply. I want to hear it.
